Table Management Overview
View and manage all tables in your restaurant.
The Table Screen
The table management screen shows your restaurant's floor plan with real-time status for each table.
Accessing Tables
- Tap "Tables" in the bottom navigation
- Or say "Hey Maximus, show tables"
Understanding Table Status
Each table shows its current status with colors:
| Status | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Available | Green | Empty and ready |
| Seated | Blue | Guests seated, waiting to order |
| Ordered | Yellow | Order placed, food being prepared |
| Served | Purple | Food delivered |
| Check Presented | Orange | Bill given, waiting for payment |
| Needs Cleaning | Red | Guests left, needs bussing |
| Reserved | Gray with clock | Upcoming reservation |
Table Information
Tap any table to see details:

| Table # | Table identifier |
| Seats | Number of seats |
| Guests | Current guest count |
| Server | Assigned server name |
| Time Seated | How long guests have been there |
| Current Order | Order summary and status |
| Total | Current bill amount |
Quick Actions
From the table detail view:
| Action | Purpose |

| New Order | Start taking order for this table |
| View Order | See current order details |
| Transfer | Move order to different table |
| Merge | Combine with another table |
| Print Check | Print bill for guests |
| Close | Mark as available |
Seating Guests
From the Host Stand
- Go to Tables screen
- Find an available (green) table
- Tap the table
- Tap "Seat Guests"
- Enter number of guests
- Table turns blue (Seated)
Assigning a Server
If auto-assignment is off:
- Tap the seated table
- Tap "Assign Server"
- Select from available servers
- Server receives notification
Transferring Tables
To move guests to a different table:
- Tap the current table
- Tap "Transfer"
- Select the new table
- Confirm transfer
- Order and tab move automatically
Merging Tables
For large parties across multiple tables:
- Tap the first table
- Tap "Merge"
- Select additional tables to merge
- Tables are now linked
- Orders combine into single check
Unmerging
- Tap the merged table group
- Tap "Unmerge"
- Choose how to split the orders
Floor Plan Views
View Options

Switching Views
Tap the view icon in the top-right corner.
Filtering Tables
By Status
- Tap "Filter" at top
- Select status(es):
- Available only
- Needs attention
- My tables
By Section
- Tap section tabs at top
- Options: All, Patio, Main, Bar, Private
Table Timing
Turn Time
Each table shows elapsed time since seating:
- Green time - Normal range
- Yellow time - Getting long
- Red time - Over target
Target Times
(Set by management)

Voice Commands for Tables

Troubleshooting
Table shows wrong status
- Tap the table
- Manually update status
- If stuck, ask manager to reset
Can't seat table
| Cause | Solution |
|---|---|
| Table reserved | Check reservation time |
| Table dirty | Mark as cleaned first |
| Table merged | May need to unmerge |
