Managing Your Cart

Review and modify your order before checkout.

Viewing Your Cart​

Tap the Cart tab to see:

  • All items in your order
  • Item quantities and prices
  • Customizations/modifiers
  • Subtotal and estimated total

The cart icon shows a badge with item count.

Modifying Items​

Change Quantity​

  1. Find the item in your cart
  2. Tap - to decrease or + to increase
  3. Quantity updates immediately
  4. Total recalculates

Edit Customizations​

  1. Tap the item name
  2. Modify options (size, toppings, etc.)
  3. Tap Update Item

Remove Items​

Option 1: Reduce quantity to 0 Option 2: Swipe left and tap Remove Option 3: Tap trash icon

A brief Undo option appears after removing.

Adding More Items​

To continue shopping:

  1. Tap Add More Items
  2. Returns to restaurant menu
  3. Browse and add items
  4. Return to cart when ready

Promo Codes​

Apply a Code​

  1. Tap Add Promo Code
  2. Enter your code (e.g., SAVE10)
  3. Tap Apply
  4. Discount shown in order summary

Common Promo Types​

If Code Does Not Work​

Codes may not work if:

  • Expired
  • Already used (single-use)
  • Minimum order not met
  • Not valid at this restaurant
  • Only for specific items

Order Summary​

Your cart shows:

Minimum Order​

Some restaurants have minimums:

  • "Add $X.XX to meet minimum"
  • Cannot checkout until met
  • Minimum shown in restaurant details

Allergy Warnings​

If you have set allergies:

  • Items with allergens show warning icon
  • Cart summary shows allergy alert
  • Checkout may be blocked if conflicts exist
  • Review warnings before proceeding

AI Suggestions​

"Complete Your Meal"​

The cart may suggest:

  • Complementary items
  • Popular pairings
  • Drinks or sides
  • Desserts

Quick Add​

Tap + on any suggestion to add it directly.

Multiple Restaurants​

Currently, each order is from one restaurant:

  • Adding from a new restaurant clears cart
  • Confirm before clearing
  • Place separate orders for multiple restaurants

Save for Later​

Items in cart are saved:

  • Close app, cart persists
  • Come back and checkout when ready
  • Items may become unavailable

Clear Cart​

To start over:

  1. Tap Clear Cart
  2. Confirm "Remove all items?"
  3. Cart emptied

Proceed to Checkout​

When ready:

  1. Review all items
  2. Verify total looks correct
  3. Tap Checkout
  4. Continue to payment
