Account & Login Issues

Can't Log In

Try these steps:

  1. Check your credentials

    • Make sure you're using the correct email
    • Passwords are case-sensitive
    • Check for extra spaces
  2. Reset your password

    • Tap "Forgot Password?"
    • Enter your email
    • Check inbox (and spam folder)
    • Click reset link within 1 hour
  3. Try social login

    • If you signed up with Google/Apple, use that option
    • Look for "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple"
  4. Check your internet connection

    • Switch between Wi-Fi and cellular
    • Try airplane mode on/off

Account Locked

If you see "Account locked":

  • Wait 30 minutes and try again
  • Too many failed login attempts triggers a temporary lock
  • If still locked, contact support

Forgot Which Email I Used

  1. Try your most common email addresses
  2. Check your email for past order confirmations from Restaurant Revolution
  3. Contact support with your phone number to look up your account

Can't Verify My Email

  1. Check spam/junk folder
  2. Add noreply@restaurantrevolution.ai to contacts
  3. Tap "Resend Verification Email"
  4. Wait a few minutes between attempts

Order Issues

Order Not Showing Up

If you just placed an order:

  1. Pull down to refresh the screen
  2. Check Order History in your profile
  3. Look for confirmation email
  4. Wait 1-2 minutes for system to sync

If order is missing from history:

  • The restaurant may not have confirmed it yet
  • Check your email for confirmation
  • Contact the restaurant directly

Order Status Not Updating

  1. Pull down to refresh
  2. Check your internet connection
  3. The restaurant may be busy - allow extra time
  4. For pickup orders, it's okay to call the restaurant

Want to Cancel an Order

Before restaurant confirms:

  • Go to order details
  • Tap "Cancel Order"
  • Confirm cancellation
  • Refund processes automatically

After restaurant confirms:

  • Call the restaurant directly
  • Cancellation depends on whether they've started preparing
  • Partial refund may apply

Wrong Items in My Order

If you haven't left yet:

  1. Check your order at pickup
  2. Show the issue to staff immediately
  3. They'll correct it on the spot

If you've already left:

  1. Go to Order History
  2. Find the order
  3. Tap "Report an Issue"
  4. Select "Wrong items received"
  5. Describe what was wrong
  6. Submit for review

Missing Items

  1. Go to Order History
  2. Find the order
  3. Tap "Report an Issue"
  4. Select "Missing items"
  5. Check the items that were missing
  6. Submit - refund or credit will be issued

Food Quality Issue

  1. Go to Order History > Find order
  2. Tap "Report an Issue"
  3. Select "Quality issue"
  4. Describe the problem
  5. Add photos if possible
  6. Submit for restaurant review

Payment Issues

Payment Failed

Try these solutions:

  1. Check card details

    • Expiration date correct?
    • Billing address matches?
    • Sufficient funds available?
  2. Try a different payment method

    • Add another card
    • Use Apple Pay / Google Pay
    • Use gift card balance
  3. Contact your bank

    • They may have blocked the transaction
    • Authorize the merchant "Restaurant Revolution"
  4. Update card in app

    • Go to Profile > Payment Methods
    • Remove old card
    • Add card fresh

Charged But Order Didn't Go Through

  1. Wait 5 minutes - the order may still process
  2. Check your email for confirmation
  3. If no order after 10 minutes:
    • The charge was likely a temporary hold
    • It will drop off in 1-5 business days
    • Contact support if charge posts permanently

Double Charged

  1. Check if you accidentally placed two orders
  2. Review Order History for duplicates
  3. If truly double charged:
    • Take screenshot of bank statement
    • Contact support with order details
    • Refund will be processed within 5-7 business days

Gift Card Not Working

  1. Check the balance (Profile > Gift Cards)
  2. Ensure it's activated
  3. Gift card may be for a specific restaurant/chain
  4. Try entering code manually (case-sensitive)

  1. Check with your bank first
  2. Then contact support with order number

App Issues

App Crashing

  1. Update the app

    • Check App Store / Google Play for updates
    • Install latest version
  2. Restart your phone

    • Power off completely
    • Wait 30 seconds
    • Power back on
  3. Reinstall the app

    • Delete the app
    • Download fresh from store
    • Log back in
  4. Clear app cache (Android)

    • Settings > Apps > Restaurant Revolution
    • Storage > Clear Cache

App Running Slow

  1. Close other apps running in background
  2. Check internet connection speed
  3. Update to latest app version
  4. Restart your phone

Push Notifications Not Working

iOS:

  1. Settings > Restaurant Revolution
  2. Enable Notifications
  3. Enable all notification types

Android:

  1. Settings > Apps > Restaurant Revolution
  2. Notifications > Enable
  3. Allow all categories

Location Not Working

For finding nearby restaurants:

  1. Enable location services

    • iOS: Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Restaurant Revolution > "While Using"
    • Android: Settings > Apps > Restaurant Revolution > Permissions > Location
  2. Make sure you have GPS signal

  3. Try searching by address instead


Delivery Issues

Driver Can't Find Me

  1. Check your delivery address is correct
  2. Add delivery instructions (gate code, building number)
  3. Watch for driver's call/text
  4. Meet driver outside if possible

Delivery Taking Too Long

  1. Check estimated time on order screen
  2. Pull down to refresh for updates
  3. Heavy traffic or weather may cause delays
  4. Contact restaurant if significantly delayed

Delivered to Wrong Address

  1. Check the address on your order
  2. Contact driver (if still active)
  3. Contact restaurant immediately
  4. Report issue in app for refund/redelivery

Loyalty & Rewards Issues

Points Not Showing

  1. Points appear after order completion
  2. Allow 24 hours for points to post
  3. Check you're logged into correct account
  4. Some promotions may exclude points

Can't Redeem Reward

  1. Check reward requirements (minimum order, specific items)
  2. Verify reward hasn't expired
  3. Some rewards are one per order
  4. Try on next order if current doesn't qualify

Missing Tier Benefits

  1. Check your current tier status
  2. Benefits activate at tier upgrade
  3. Some benefits require minimum order
  4. Contact support if benefits don't apply

Call the Restaurant

For issues with a specific order, calling the restaurant is often fastest:

  1. Go to Order History
  2. Find the order
  3. Tap the restaurant name
  4. Tap the phone number

FAQ

How do I delete my account?

  1. Go to Profile > Settings > Account
  2. Scroll to "Delete Account"
  3. Confirm deletion
  4. Account deleted within 30 days
  5. Unused gift card balances will be forfeited

How do I update my email?

  1. Profile > Settings > Account
  2. Tap email address
  3. Enter new email
  4. Verify via confirmation email

How do I change my phone number?

  1. Profile > Settings > Account
  2. Tap phone number
  3. Enter new number
  4. Verify via SMS code

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. We use:

  • Bank-level encryption (TLS 1.3)
  • PCI DSS compliance
  • We never store full card numbers
  • Tokenized payments

How do I give feedback?

  • Rate your order: After each order
  • Restaurant review: In order history
  • App feedback: Profile > Help > Send Feedback
