Book a table at your favorite restaurants.

Finding Reservations

Search by Availability

  1. Open the app
  2. Tap Reservations or filter by "Dine-In"
  3. Select date and party size
  4. Browse available restaurants

From Restaurant Page

  1. Open restaurant details
  2. Tap Reserve a Table
  3. Select date, time, party size

Making a Reservation

Step 1: Select Restaurant

Choose from:

  • Search results
  • Favorites
  • Recent restaurants
  • Recommended

Step 2: Choose Date

  1. Tap the date field
  2. Select from calendar
  3. Available dates highlighted
  4. Book up to 30 days ahead

Step 3: Choose Party Size

  1. Tap party size selector
  2. Select number of guests (1-12)
  3. Larger parties may need phone call

Step 4: Choose Time

  1. View available time slots
  2. Times based on date and party size
  3. Tap your preferred time
  4. Popular times may be limited

Step 5: Add Preferences

Optional seating preferences:

  • Window seat
  • Quiet area
  • Outdoor seating
  • Booth
  • High chair needed
  • Wheelchair accessible

Step 6: Special Requests

Add notes like:

  • "Celebrating birthday"
  • "Anniversary dinner"
  • "Allergies - no nuts"
  • "Prefer corner table"

Step 7: Confirm

  1. Review all details
  2. Tap Book Table
  3. Confirmation displayed
  4. Email/SMS confirmation sent

Confirmation Details

Your confirmation shows:

  • Confirmation number
  • Restaurant name and address
  • Date and time
  • Party size
  • Special requests
  • Cancellation policy

Save or screenshot for reference.


Managing Reservations

View Reservations

  1. Go to Profile
  2. Tap Reservations
  3. See upcoming and past bookings

Modify Reservation

If changes needed:

  1. Open the reservation
  2. Tap Modify
  3. Change date, time, or party size
  4. Confirm changes

Note: Some changes require canceling and rebooking.

Cancel Reservation

  1. Open the reservation
  2. Tap Cancel Reservation
  3. Confirm cancellation
  4. Cancellation email sent

Cancellation Policies

Policies vary by restaurant:

  • Flexible - Cancel anytime
  • Moderate - Cancel 4+ hours ahead
  • Strict - Cancel 24+ hours ahead
  • Deposit - Deposit may be non-refundable

Check policy before booking.


Day of Reservation

Before Arriving

  • Confirmation email has address
  • Arrive 5-10 minutes early
  • Call if running late

Check-In

At the restaurant:

  1. Tell host your name
  2. Or show confirmation
  3. Host seats your party

Running Late

If delayed more than 15 minutes:

  1. Call the restaurant
  2. Or use app to notify
  3. Table may be given away

Waitlist

Join Waitlist

If no times available:

  1. Tap Join Waitlist
  2. Select preferred date/time
  3. Enter party size
  4. Add to waitlist

How It Works

  • Notified if spot opens
  • Limited time to accept
  • First come, first served

Waitlist Notifications

You will be notified via:

  • Push notification
  • Email
  • SMS

Accept within the time limit or spot goes to next person.

Restaurant Preparation

Restaurants may:

  • Note the occasion
  • Prepare special touches
  • Offer complimentary items
  • Decorate table

Large Parties

Groups Over 8

May require:

  • Phone reservation
  • Deposit
  • Prix fixe menu
  • Separate room

How to Book Large Party

  1. Call restaurant directly
  2. Provide date, time, size
  3. Discuss menu options
  4. Confirm deposit if needed

No-Show Policy

What Happens

If you do not show up:

  • Table given away after 15 min
  • You may be charged (if deposit)
  • Future reservations may be limited

Avoiding No-Shows

  • Cancel if plans change
  • Set calendar reminder
  • Enable app notifications
  • Call if emergency

Troubleshooting

No Availability

  • Try different date/time
  • Join waitlist
  • Check similar restaurants
  • Call restaurant directly

Confirmation Not Received

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Verify email address
  • Check app notifications
  • Contact support

Double Booking

If you see duplicate:

  1. Keep one reservation
  2. Cancel the other
  3. Contact restaurant if issues
