How 86'd Items Work
When you 86 an item:
- Mark item as 86'd in POS
- Display updates within 5 seconds
- Item hidden from menu boards
- No manual update needed
When Item Returns
When you un-86 an item:
- Remove 86 status in POS
- Item reappears on displays automatically

Daypart Transitions
Understanding Dayparts
Menus change automatically based on time:

Emergency Procedures
Display Showing Inappropriate Content
- Immediately report to manager
- If manager unavailable, power off display if accessible
- Do not post about it on social media
- Document what was shown
All Displays Go Dark
- Check if power outage (other equipment too?)
- If just displays, check network
- Report to manager
- Continue operations - use printed backup menus if available
Fire/Emergency
- Leave displays as-is
- Follow evacuation procedures
- Displays are not priority during emergencies
